Welcome
Command Palette
Open Storyarn's control center with Meta+K (macOS) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) to search and run commands anywhere.
The command palette is Storyarn’s control center: one search box that finds and runs the commands available wherever you are — navigation, view controls, and workspace actions — without leaving the keyboard.
Opening the palette
- macOS: press ⌘K
- Windows / Linux: press Ctrl+K
Press the same shortcut again, or Esc from the first page, to close it. Inside a creation or deletion step, Esc goes back one step. The shortcut stays out of your way while you type elsewhere: it does not open over text fields, editors, or another dialog.
How it works
Type to filter commands by name. Use the arrow keys to highlight a command and Enter to run it. Commands are grouped:
- Navigation — jump between workspaces, projects, Sheets, Flows and Scenes, or open settings you have permission to manage.
- View — controls for the editor you are in, such as fitting the canvas to view in the flow and scene editors or toggling the flow minimap.
- Actions — create a Sheet, Flow or Scene in any project you can edit, or search for one of them to delete with an inline confirmation. The palette stays open while destructive actions complete.
Commands depend on where you are
The palette is available across the authenticated workspace, project and settings areas. It only offers what applies to the current page and your permissions. In the flow editor you get flow commands; on the workspace dashboard you get workspace commands. If a command does not appear, it is unavailable in that context — the palette never swaps in a different action.
